Eva Li
Graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and currently based in Shenzhen, the artist is a senior oil painter and a member of the Dafen Artists Association.
Specializing in palette knife techniques, she is particularly known for her vivid and textured depictions of koi fish, blending traditional symbolism with contemporary aesthetics. Her dynamic use of texture and bold color gives these works a sense of movement, depth, and emotional resonance.
In addition to aquatic themes, the artist is also celebrated for her expressive floral paintings, which range from highly abstract to richly textured interpretations of various flowers. By combining intuitive composition, layered surfaces, and a refined color palette, she captures the vitality and elegance of nature in a modern visual language. Each flower becomes a symbol—of emotion, season, or personal reflection—imbued with life and texture.
She actively participates in major exhibitions such as the Dafen International Oil Painting Biennale and the National Exhibition of Young and Middle-Aged Oil Painters. Her works have been widely recognized for their distinctive style, strong visual impact, and evocative use of texture across both koi and floral series.
